Hoisting wire rope was jumped out from wire rope sheave after stevedore lifted cargo slanted position and sudden pulling of cargo. Operator keep on operating crane while wire rope was out of sheave. Then wire rope cut jib structure and damaged.
Emergency service call was made by customer and ZWT Asia crane service team was sent out immediately with necessary material and tools to repair crane as per standard repair procedure.
Tested crane after repair and job was successfully done during voyage.
